A Day at the Beach with Zoe

This is Zoe. I wasn't sure if I liked her. She's a bit shy. Not sure if she likes the Somervilles, but she will learn that they are good people.

We are in the car on the way to a surprise place.

Zoe isn't sure about the car ride.

We are at the beach.

I've been here before. I don't like the water.

I think I like the beach more this time.

Zoe keeps stopping to smell stuff. I think this is her first time at the beach. She's not sure what she thinks.

A New Chew Toy

Joy went to a Clippers' game with her friend.

She brought me this cool chew toy.

It makes noise when I bite it.

Now Megan is trying to take it away from me.

She's chasing me.

I'll hide in the hallway.

Darn, she caught me.

Cool Chew Toys

Megan is trying to catch me to take away this cool chew toy I found in her room.

Maybe I can hide in that bag.

Oops, no where to run. She's going to take it away.

I found a comfortable place to take a nap. Do you think Megan will notice I found the chew toy and got carried away? I'll just try to look innocent.

Some of the clothes were fun to chew and the wicker clothes basket too.

Joy didn't take it too well. She kicked me out of my comfortable spot.

Helping Joy Grade Papers

Joy is also a teacher. I'm trying to get her to take a much needed break.

Well it didn't work too well so I will take a nap until she finishes grading all these papers.

She has a lot to grade so it might be a while.

I think the notcher is a more interesting toy than the red rubber chew toy.
